Servizio Elettronica e Automazione

The Servizio Elettronica e Automazione (SEA)  gives support and provides electronic equipments for the experiments and the facilities of the Laboratories.

The SEA takes care of the design, engineering, production and testing of the electronic systems required by the experiments (front-end, back-end, data transmission, readout, trigger, power supply, control) and give support in the phases of installation, commissionig and maintanance. In some cases, SEA personnel directly participate in the experiment, assuming responsibility for coordinating the design, development and implementation of specific electronic systems. Furthermore, SEA collaborates in the R&D phase of detectors and in the development of automatic production systems. SEA takes care of small electronic processes, repairs and maintenance of electronic instruments.
